Pete graduated from Marquette University in 1988 and earned his law degree from Albany Law School in 1991.

Prior to joining Burgess & Associates in 2009, Melissa served as counsel and chief of staff to a New York State Senator for 14 years, where she honed her skills in addressing small business and economic development issues on a daily basis.
